What we keep

We do not hold any.

We used to ask for eight, and we have stopped and deleted them. Wumn sells ready-made pieces, so what decides your size is the maker’s size chart on the garment page: what the finished piece measures, published by the person who made it. You compare it against something in your wardrobe that already fits, and nothing about your body is typed in, stored or sent anywhere.

Name, phone number, address, city, state and PIN code, plus a landmark if you added one.

The seller you bought from can see the name, phone number and full address on that order.

There is no way around it: they are posting the parcel, and a courier will phone that number when they cannot find the door. They see it only for orders placed with them, and only the address that order was sent to. The courier carrying it sees the same.

An order keeps its own copy of the address from the moment it is placed. That means removing an address from your address book does not reroute a parcel already on its way, and it does not blank out where a past order went.

What you bought, the size, what you paid, and the state of the payment. Kept for as long as you have an account, because a receipt you cannot find is not a receipt, and tax rules require us to keep records of sales.

We never hold your card number, its expiry, or your UPI ID.

Those go to Razorpay, who take the payment. What we store is their reference for it, the amount, whether it succeeded, and which kind of method was used — enough to answer “where is my money” and nothing more.

A ready-made piece can be returned within 7 days of arriving. If you raise one we keep the reason you gave and any photograph you attached, because the seller has to see what was wrong with it.

A review you write is shown on the garment with your first name. The fit verdicts feed the “runs loose through the waist” line that other customers read, and that line is only ever shown once enough people have said the same thing that no single review can be identified from it.

Nothing. Every screen on Wumn except signing in, this page and the help page requires an account, and none of them are open to search engines. There is no public profile, no shareable link to an order, and no way to look somebody up.

Write to privacy@wumn.in and we will remove your account, your addresses and your saved items.

Records of completed sales stay, with your name on them, because we are required to keep them. We will say exactly what was kept rather than telling you everything is gone.
